How Tokenization Works
When a customer enters payment card details at checkout:
The payment information is securely sent directly to Stripe.
Stripe replaces the sensitive card data with a unique encrypted identifier called a token.
Our shopping cart and order management systems receive and store only the token and limited payment metadata (such as card type, last four digits, and expiration date where applicable).
The token is then used to complete payment transactions or process authorized refunds without exposing the original card details.
This tokenization process helps reduce the handling of sensitive payment card information and supports compliance with applicable payment security standards, including PCI-DSS requirements.

All payment transactions are encrypted using SSL/TLS technology.
Full card numbers, CVV codes, and other sensitive authentication data are processed only by Stripe.
Access to payment-related information is restricted to authorized personnel and systems.
